This may surprise you, but every now and then we say something that really gets fans riled up. The best example of this is our belief that while Aaron Craft is a very good defender, he is not, nor has he ever been, Ohio State’s best defender. And this year, he’s not even the team’s best perimeter defender. Rather than take this as a complement to Ohio State’s collection of outstanding defenders, a lot of people take this as a slight to Craft.

As we finish up non-conference play, we’re getting a better picture of where the teams stack up, and where they have holes to fill. No team is perfect, so everyone could stand to benefit from some gifts from Santa (or whoever). Here’s a rundown of what everyone needs.
He dipped, he dashed. He dished, he drove. Yogi Ferrell is good. Really good. That’s what I took away from the wunderkind’s college debut. The line: 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting from the field, 0-for-1 from 3-point range, 4-for-4 from the line. He also had five rebounds, six assists and just two turnovers.
The immediate future of the Indiana men’s basketball team is extremely bright. Not only do the Hoosiers return their starting five from a team that advanced to the Sweet 16 this past season, but they welcome a highly touted recruiting class, headlined by point guard Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell. Ferrell, a 5-foot-10 lead guard from Park Tudor High School (Ind.), will join Cody Zeller, Christian Watford and company in Bloomington starting next season.
