The 60-minute show painted an indelible portrait of college football’s most storied rivalry and examined the aftermath of the 1973 Ohio State-Michigan game that ended in a 10-10 tie. With both teams tied atop the standings, Big Ten Athletic Directors voted to send Ohio State to the Rose Bowl. Michigan’s Bo Schembechler called the decision “the lowest day of my athletic career.”

Week 9 of the college football season was filled with a little bit of everything. We had upsets, blowouts and plenty of top plays. Minnesota had a memorable 34-23 upset victory over Nebraska, making the Gophers bowl eligible. Iowa edged out Northwestern in overtime, while both Michigan State and Ohio State cruised to blowout wins over Illinois and Penn State, respectively.

Week 8 of the college football season sure was a doozy. Michigan topped Indiana 63-47 in one of the most entertaining games of the college football season. Ohio State sweated out a close win over Iowa, Minnesota got a huge upset victory over Northwestern, and Wisconsin and Michigan State took care of business against Illinois and Purdue, respectively.
