		<description><![CDATA[Michigan&#8217;s Trey Burke won the 2013 John R. Wooden Award on Friday finishing just ahead of Indiana&#8217;s Victor Oladipo. The Wolverines&#8217; sophomore guard averaged 18.8 points and 6.8 assists a game and has led Michigan to the Final Four. Four of the top ten finishers for this award are from the Big Ten. In the voting,  Burke had 2,808 points, just ahead of second-place finisher Oladipo (2,718). Michigan sophomore Trey Burke and Indiana junior Victor Oladipo made the first team, while Indiana sophomore Cody Zeller and Ohio State junior Deshaun Thomas landed on the second and third teams, respectively. 		<description><![CDATA[The four finalists for the 2013 Naismith Men&#8217;s College Player of the Year were announced Sunday afternoon, and the Big Ten comprises half the field. Indiana&#8217;s Victor Oladipo and Michigan&#8217;s Trey Burke are finalists, along with Creighton&#8217;s Doug McDermott and Georgetown&#8217;s Otto Porter Jr. The finalists were chosen by the Atlanta Tipoff Club’s Board of Selectors, which based selections on individual performances throughout the regular season.
