The biggest change is at No. 3, where Wisconsin has surpassed Iowa. See where you team lands on my latest list in this post.
Maybe all of those concerns about Ohio State and Wisconsin were all for naught. That being the case, the top five of my Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal, has returned to normalcy. See where you team lands on my latest list in this post.
Drew Crawford had a big decision to make. It was last April, and the season was finished. Crawford, who redshirted after having surgery to repair his injured right shoulder, was finishing his undergraduate work toward his degree at Northwestern.
Just when you thought the Big Ten couldn’t get any wilder, it does. Every day, it seemed, there was a thrilling upset. Like, Northwestern over Wisconsin. Or, Penn State over Ohio State. Or, Indiana over Michigan. Naturally, the unexpected results were felt in my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. Find out where your team lands in this post.
The Big Ten is more balanced than ever right now. I love it because every game is an adventure. Is this good for the conference? Will the teams eat each other up and bring down the number of teams that get into the NCAA tournament?

It’s fun for me to see when the light finally comes on for younger players, particularly freshmen. Their game appears to the fans as though it’s blossomed out of nowhere, when, in fact, it’s just starting to bloom.
With Ohio State losing a pair of games this past week, there was quite the shakeup near the top of my Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. There also was movement at the bottom, as Northwestern is no longer in the cellar.
It would be tough to find anyone with knowledge of college basketball who would argue against the Big Ten being among the top conferences in the country this year. We are in early January, and already, the conference features nine teams with double-digit wins, five of which are currently ranked in the AP Top 25 poll.
Let’s face it, there’s a lot of talk about college basketball’s new hand-checking rules and officiating, in general. Fans are passionate about it, naturally, and that’s very evident from the latest emails I’ve received. Read my Big Ten Mailbag in this post. Have a question for me? Enter it in the form at the bottom of the post, and I’ll answer the best ones.

Big Ten play is less than a week away, can you feel it? That means it’s time for my latest and greatest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. This week, Purdue made a big jump after an impressive win over West Virginia, while Indiana and Michigan fell in the rankings.

Buckets and open looks will be harder to come by. With that in mind, I decided to rank my top five long-range shooters. Based on stats, these are the guys I want taking deep shots for me.
