When talking about the Big Ten’s most consistent football programs, Ohio State is one school that certainly comes to mind. The Buckeyes have won 10-or-more games in nine of their past 12 seasons (went 12-1 in 2010 season, but wins were vacated), including six Big Ten Championships.

Ranking starting lineups for every Big Ten team

NCAA: 'The Game' is No. 2 college football rivalry

What’s the biggest rivalry in college football? NCAA.com recently addressed the topic with a top 5 list. Its No. 1: Army vs. Navy. Athlon Sports: Tom Izzo is nation's No. 1 hoops coach

It’s good to be Tom Izzo and the Michigan State basketball team. One day after the Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook ranked the Spartans No. 1 in its preseason poll, Athlon Sports named Izzo the nation’s top college hoops coach. Neither result is much of a stunner, especially when one considers what the Spartans return and what Tom Izzo has done in his career.

Big Ten basketball fans should love Mike DeCourcy’s recently released preseason top 25. The Sporting News scribe and BTN contributor placed six Big Ten teams in his poll, including four in the top 15. In other words, DeCourcy has half the Big Ten among his top 25 teams.
