Scherff, Mostert land on FOX's top 20 'Freaks' list

Iowa offensive tackle Brandon Scherff and Purdue running back and track star Raheem Mostert were listed on Bruce Feldman’s list of top 20 “Freaks” in college football. Scherff came in at No. 2, behind Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates, while Mostert landed at No. 10. See what Feldman said about each player in this post.

Seven B1G coaches land on ESPN.com's top 50 list

It was only a matter of time before ESPN.com’s countdown of the top 50 men’s basketball coaches reached Michigan State’s Tom Izzo. It did on Wednesday, with Izzo earning the No. 3 spot. ESPN.com names Ohio State 'Linebacker U' of 2000s

When you hear “Linebacker U,” you think Penn State, right? You wouldn’t be alone. According to ESPN.com, though, the modern day “Linebacker U” moniker belongs to another Big Ten power. Ohio State took the No. 1 spot in the site’s “Linebacker U” of the 2000s list, and it wasn’t even close.

Ten B1G teams land on ESPN's Fab 50 for 2014-15

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman released his Fab 50 for 2014-15, a ranking of his top 50 men’s hoops teams, on Tuesday. Ten Big Ten teams make the list, including newcomer Maryland (No. 30), paced by reigning national semifinalist Wisconsin (No. 3). The No. 1 team? That’s Kentucky, of course.
