Snap Reactions: Huskers earned it

Here are three things I observed during Nebraska’s big win at Iowa on Friday. 1. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a win. And Nebraska will take it. The Cornhuskers are headed to the Big Ten title game as the Legends Division representative. Now, Nebraska will take aim on its first league title since winning the Big 12 in 1999. The Huskers will meet Wisconsin for the championship. Earlier this season, Nebraska rallied from a 17-point deficit to beat the Badgers, 30-27, on Sept. 29. 2. It was nice to see Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead back. He has been sidelined for

Nebraska 13, Iowa 7: Photos, videos & recaps

Playing in cold and windy conditions in Iowa City, Nebraska held on to beat Iowa 13-7 to clinch at least a share of the Legends Division and a berth in next Saturday’s Big Ten Championship against Wisconsin. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter but a late interception sealed it for the Huskers. Week 13 Previews: Plenty at stake this weekend

The final week of the regular season is upon us and there is still a lot is on the line. Nebraska needs a win at Iowa to clinch the Legends Division crown on Friday. On Saturday, Ohio State is trying to punctuate a 12-0 season with a triumph over Michigan. How sweet would that be for Buckeye fans? Of course, the Wolverines would love to trash that Buckeye dream and win the Legends, and they can do just that with a victory over Ohio State and loss by Nebraska. Purdue and Michigan State need wins to become bowl eligible. And Wisconsin

Best of Week 13: Get ready for rivalry week

It’s Rivalry Week! Michigan at Ohio State. Indiana at Purdue. Illinois at Northwestern. Nebraska at Iowa. And a lot is on the line in the final regular-season week. Ohio State looks to punctuate a perfect season. Nebraska can clinch the Legends Division with a win or a Michigan loss. Purdue and Michigan State need victories to become bowl eligible. Here’s a look at the Best of Week 13. Best game: Do you have to ask? It’s Michigan at Ohio State. The Wolverines ended a seven-game losing skid to the Buckeyes last season. A second win in a row this season
