Carlos Hyde ran for 146 yards and No. 4 Ohio State’s defense shut out 20th-ranked Michigan in the second half to grab a bruising 26-21 victory on Saturday, completing an improbable 12-0 season for the Buckeyes. It was a sweet win for the Buckeyes, just 6-7 last season with a loss to their archrivals in a transitional year in which they were facing heavy NCAA penalties.

Saturday was a big day at Ohio Stadium. Not only did Ohio State beat heated rival Michigan to clinch a perfect 12-0 season, the school celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the 2002 national championship team. And yes, the festivities included Jim Tressel, the former coach responsible for the current team’s NCAA probation. That didn’t matter on this day, as the Ohio State faithful gave Tressel a rousing ovation. Watch the fans shower Tressel with love now.

The final week of the regular season is upon us and there is still a lot is on the line. Nebraska needs a win at Iowa to clinch the Legends Division crown on Friday. On Saturday, Ohio State is trying to punctuate a 12-0 season with a triumph over Michigan. How sweet would that be for Buckeye fans? Of course, the Wolverines would love to trash that Buckeye dream and win the Legends, and they can do just that with a victory over Ohio State and loss by Nebraska.

This is the last week of the regular season. Rivalry trophies are on the line. (Hello, Old Oaken Bucket, Land of Lincoln Trophy, Heroes Trophy!) Bowl eligibility is up for grabs. A division title still must be decided. Here are the key questions for each team this week.
It was rumored to happen, and it will. On Monday night, Ohio State unveiled the Nike Pro Combat Rivalry uniform the Buckeyes will wear against Michigan on Saturday. According to Nike, this is the “most technically advanced integrated uniform system.”
It’s Rivalry Week! Michigan at Ohio State. Indiana at Purdue. Illinois at Northwestern. Nebraska at Iowa. And a lot is on the line in the final regular-season week.
Prior to last season, Ohio State wore Nike Pro Combat uniforms for the previous two rivalry games against Michigan. Will the Buckeyes make it three out of four years? The internet is abuzz over this picture, which Ohio State beat writer Ben Axelrod tweeted with this text: “The Ohio State team shop/Nike may have accidentally revealed this year’s pro combat 2002 tribute uniform.”
The question was posed, and BTN football analysts Howard Griffith and Chris Martin gave their educated answers. So, which electric running quarterback is more crucial to his team: Braxton Miller or Denard Robinson?
