Big Ten Geeks: It's a thin line this year

Michigan clinched at least a share of the Big Ten title this weekend, as it took care of business against Minnesota at home while Michigan State was upset by Illinois in East Lansing. Northwestern’s Drew Crawford (labrum), Penn State’s Tim Frazier (Achilles) and Wisconsin’s Josh Gasser (knee), to name a few, combined to play 14 games early last season. Gasser, actually, didn’t play a single game. Well, all three are ready to make up for lost time. Which one will have the best season? And which one will

Big Ten Hoops Power Rankings

It’s time to release my latest Big Ten men’s hoops power rankings. The rankings are not meant to mimic the Big Ten standings. What fun would that be? They aren’t scientific, either. They’re simply my thoughts on where each Big Ten team stands right now and who would win on a neutral court. Agree? Disagree? Tweet @BTNBrentYarina or leave your comments below. See Brent’s rankings in this post. The latest national polls are out, as well. Where does your team land? And check out all of the Big Ten statistical leaders. 1.
