Michigan and Iowa, the top two seeds in Legends Division, will meet on the other side of the bracket. See all of the matchups and cast your votes in this post.
The Sun Belt Conference released its new logo Sunday afternoon. You might be asking yourself, “OK, what does that have to do with the Big Ten?” Nothing, really, other than it looks like the conference may have used the Big Ten basketball tourney logo for inspiration. Everybody loves pinwheels! Another thing that makes it Big Ten-like: the curls of the pinwheel, while yellow and blue, can change to represent the main color of each school. The more I look at this new logo, the more it resembles a doughnut. Am I alone? Here’s a shot of the Big Ten tourney […]

Remember this terrific Ricky Stanzi America-themed print from last summer? The artist, Sean Thompson, is at it again. This year, Thompson has a piece that will interest a few Big Ten fan bases; it’s called “Evy,” and it’s of former Michigan player, Michigan State assistant and Iowa head coach/athletic director Forest Evashevski. Like the popular Stanzi piece, which Kirk Ferentz bought, “Evy” will be auctioned off at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Golf Open (formerly Nate Kaeding Golf Open) in Iowa City. All proceeds go to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Pretty nice, huh? The illustrations of the state’s Teton Mountains in both end zones is the headliner. I asked the question on Twitter, and Big Ten fans responded. Here are the some of the best, most G-rated tweets: @BTNBrentYarina Nebraska, obvious choice, Corn field. With all the terrible events that have transpired the last week in Boston and its surrounding areas, the game was going to feature plenty of emotion. They’ll be even more now as a result of the school’s terrific decision to go all out in honoring the Boston Marathon victims.
