Tickets for the 2014 Big Ten Football Championship Game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, August 2 at noon ET. The fourth annual Big Ten Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX with kickoff set for 8:17 p.m. ET.

Big Ten releases 2014-15 hockey schedule

The Big Ten office announced the dates and opponents for the 2014-15 hockey season today, featuring 20-game schedules for each of the six Big Ten hockey schools – Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin. The schedule concludes with the 2015 Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, to be held March 19-21, 2015, at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Spartans schedule home-and-home with Arizona State

Michigan State Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced on Tuesday that the Spartans have signed a contract for a home-and-home football series with Arizona State. The Spartans will kick off the two-game series with Arizona State on Sept. 8, 2018, in Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. The Sun Devils will make the return trip to Spartan Stadium on Sept. 14, 2019.

The Big Ten announced a six-game prime-time schedule for BTN/BTN2Go that is highlighted by a mid-November telecast and two appearances by Nebraska and Rutgers. Rutgers is the only Big Ten team that will play host to two BTN night tilts, kicking things off with a visit from East rival Penn State on Sept. 13 in the Scarlet Knights’ first Big Ten game. Rutgers also will welcome Michigan on Oct. 4.

BTN to televise nine spring championships in May

ESPN/ABC tabbed its Big Ten prime-time games, and the list of six games includes the first November night game in the history of Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes will host Illinois at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 1.
