Indiana won the 2013 Big Ten Baseball Tournament championship Sunday afternoon thanks to a dramatic 4-3 walk-off victory over Nebraska, which had won three consecutive elimination games. The crown marks the third for the Hoosiers, and the first since 2009.  With the triumph, Indiana earns the Big Ten’s automatic berth to the NCAA tourney.

The uninformed fan wouldn’t even know about Oakes’ illness – if it weren’t for the surgical mask around his face.
