Wisconsin will be the next Big Ten school to make a major apparel move. The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced a long-term partnership with Under Armour during a press conference on Friday afternoon. Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez and Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank announced a new 10-year partnership, which is set to begin July 1, 2016. The No. 1-ranked Penn State volleyball team picked up a huge non-conference win on Saturday night, downing No. 2 Stanford in straight sets (25-21, 25-22, 25-18). The Nittany Lions hit .327 (51 kills – 14 errors) behind a balanced attack, while Stanford hit .267. Haleigh Washington, Aiyana Whitney, Ali Frantti and Megan Courtney all recorded over 10 kills for Penn State in the victory. The Nittany Lions improve to 5-0 on the season with the impressive win. Yes, half of the Big Ten teams are represented in the latest AVCA poll, highlighted by No. 1 Penn State, released Monday.
