The Big Ten office released its Week 3 Players of the Week on Monday morning, and Ohio State won two of the four awards. Backup quarterback Kenny Guiton won Offensive Player of the Week and star linebacker Ryan Shazier took home Defensive Player of the Week. See all the honorees in this post.
(AP) Minnesota coach Jerry Kill has returned to work, and his boss says he still has full confidence in Kill’s ability to do the job despite another public seizure. Kill had to leave Saturday’s game at halftime because of his latest episode, the fourth on a game day in three years with the Gophers. After a precautionary hospital visit, Kill returned home that afternoon.

Week 3 of the college football season wasn’t the kindest to the Big Ten, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t plenty of outstanding plays. As a whole, the Big Ten went 7-5 on Saturday, as Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the conference. With that said, it’s time to go back in time and take a look at the top plays and twitter reactions from this past weekend.

Three weeks are in the books. And this much I know: I don’t know what to make about a lot of teams. Week 3 was a mixed bag for the Big Ten, which went a disappointing 7-5, including a 1-3 mark vs. the Pac-12. And, in some ways, it seemed fitting the end to a bizarre Saturday was capped by a finish to the Wisconsin-Arizona State game that still has my head spinning.
