The BCS race is getting a bit interesting, as Baylor has narrowed the gap—and I mean REALLY narrowed the gap as in .001 narrow—behind Ohio State.
The Big Ten office released its Week 12 Big Ten Players of the Week on Monday morning. The list features a pair of Buckeyes, including Ryan Shazier, the back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week. See all the honorees and watch select video highlights in this post.

Ohio State remains on top with another impressive victory, but I finally am moving Michigan State past Wisconsin and into the No. 2 spot in my power rankings. Yes, that win at Nebraska was that vital. Sorry, Wisconsin. Without a doubt, there seems to be a big drop between the top three teams and everyone else.

Perfect Ohio State remained No. 3 in the latest BCS Standings, released Sunday night. The Buckeyes (.8869) still trail No. 1 Alabama (.9981) and No. 2 Florida State (.9661). Meanwhile, Michigan State and Wisconsin both moved up, to No. 13 and No. 19, respectively, and Minnesota debuted at No. 25. See the full poll in this post, plus the Coaches and AP polls.
