Way back on August 1, I did a Q&A with Iowa legend and BTN analyst Chuck Long, asking for his views on the 2013 season. In one of my questions, I asked Long who he was picking to win the Legends Division. His selection was a bit of a surprise: Michigan State.
The Big Ten handed out its top individual awards. Not many shockers, but I’ll admit that I was a bit surprised that Ohio State’s Ryan Shazier lost out on Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors to Wisconsin’s Chris Borland.
BTN will provide extensive coverage of the Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis this weekend, when No. 2 Ohio State takes on No. 10 Michigan State. Leading up to the action, BTN will air the Big Ten Football Championship team press conferences Friday from 3:30-4:30 PM ET. Later, #BTNLive, with Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Glen Mason, will air live from the Big Ten Fan Fest at 6 PM ET. Also, Mike Hall will host the Big Ten Football Report Championship Preview at 7 PM ET with analysts Brandon Williams, Jim Miller and Stanley Jackson.
