In the second installment of the award-winning show “The Journey” tonight at 8 p.m. ET, our crew takes you inside several more compelling stories during this Big Ten Basketball season. We went to Lincoln for the Huskers’ first Big Ten game. In Ann Arbor, we’ll show you more about the Wolverine senior leader Zack Novak and then take you to Champaign to learn how Meyers Leonard went from a small town to the big time. We also spend time with first-year Penn State coach Pat Chambers.

Our award-winning series “The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2012″ returned Sunday night. On the season’s first show, we followed Michigan State’s Draymond Green back to his hometown of Saginaw, Mich., to see how his upbringing made him into the leader he is today, and we introduced you to Indiana’s Cody Zeller. Also, we took a look at Matt Painter’s roots in the state of Indiana and profiled how two Ohio State McDonald’s All-Americans have taken different paths to success in Columbus. The Emmy-nominated, documentary-style program takes viewers deep inside Big Ten basketball programs, spending consecutive days with different conference teams to follow the season’s most compelling storylines during the 10-week march toward the Big Ten Tournament.

Blue or green? That is the question for fans in the state of Michigan must ask itself whenever Michigan plays Michigan State. The game featured in this clip in this post came down to the last shot, but more impressive than the game itself was the respect the two star players had for each other after the game.
