So Wisconsin’s Nicole Bauman had a pretty big shot in the Badgers’ game against Green Bay on Monday. With her team trailing 55-52, the sophomore guard tied up the game with a long jumper with just 0.2 seconds left in the second half. The shot forced the game into overtime.

Video: Iowa 7-footer goes behind-the-back on break

How often do you see a 7-footer make a successful behind-the-back pass? It doesn’t happen a lot, but it did Sunday in Iowa City. Iowa sophomore Adam Woodbury got fancy in transition vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and found Aaron White for a powerful dunk. White added even more flair to the play by hanging on the rim and pulling himself up. Watch the highlight in this post.

Video: MSU hoops team honors senior football players

Michigan State honored the football team’s seniors during a first-half timeout of Tuesday night’s game vs. North Florida. The seniors, the leaders of the 2013 Big Ten championship team and the first Spartans team to make the Rose Bowl since 1987, were recognized at midcourt. The Stagg Trophy was there, too. To no surprise, the Breslin Center faithful showered the seniors with applause.

There’s a good chance Minnesota’s Maverick Ahanmisi will be visiting the dentist sometime Wednesday. The veteran guard took a scary fall in Tuesday night’s Big Ten/ACC Challenge win over Florida State at Williams Arena. The worst part of the tumble, Ahanmisi broke his fall with his mouth. The new targeting rule hasn’t affected the Big Ten as much as many feared entering the season. In fact, on the final Saturday of the regular season, the conference saw just its fifth ejection. Video: Gary Andersen denied timeout request

If you missed it Saturday, Gary Andersen wasn’t exactly thrilled that he and the Badgers weren’t granted a timeout seconds before Penn State snapped the ball and scored a touchdown late in the second quarter. Leading 14-7 and with Penn State deep in Wisconsin’s red zone, Andersen noticed a mismatch on the outside and sprinted down the sideline to call a timeout. The officials ignored the timeout request, and Christian Hackenberg hit Geno Lewis for an easy 3-yard scoring strike. See the play in this post.

Video: Three ejected in Ohio State-Michigan scuffle

Michigan-Ohio State is one of the fiercest rivalries in all of sports, so it’s not uncommon for tempers to flare a little bit when the two teams meet. That’s just what happened early in the second quarter following a short Ohio State kickoff return. The two sides mixed it up after returner Dontre Wilson was brought down near the 15-yard line, and, in the end, three players were ejected.

Langford runs for TD, levels cheerleader

Michigan State running back Jeremy Langford is as hot as any Big Ten back, and he continued his torrid play on the Spartans’ opening drive Saturday vs. Minnesota. The junior running back ripped off a 15-yard scoring run to put Michigan State up 7-0. At the end of the run, after crossing the pilon, Langford’s momentum caused him to run into and over a Minnesota cheerleader. Watch the run and the collision in this post.
