Was Roy Marble impressed? Check out the slow clap

Sometimes, you’re so impressed by what you’ve seen that a slow clap is required. That was the case for Iowa legend Roy Marble after watching his son, Devyn Marble, start the second half on fire Sunday afternoon. Video: Michigan State goes all-Duke vs. Chris Collins

It’s not rare to see teams slap the floor as a group as they set up on defense vs. Duke. It’s a Duke thing, after all, and teams aren’t shy about mocking the tradition when they play the Blue Devils. Who says you can’t also do it vs. former Duke products? New Northwestern coach Chris Collins played for Duke and also spent 13 seasons there as an assistant, so perhaps that’s why the Spartans all slapped the floor early in Wednesday’s game.
