		<description><![CDATA[Attorney Marissa Pollick is one of Michigan’s first female varsity letter winners and scholarship athletes, and she now works as a legal consultant for Title IX compliance in collegiate sports. Pollick grew up playing tennis against boys before she started playing for Michigan from 1974, just one year after the team was elevated to varsity status. &#8220;We didn&#8217;t have a lot ,&#8221; Pollick said,. &#8220;We had a bathroom in the corner. We had a folding chair. And we would go in and change, and throw out stuff on the folding chair in the bathroom. And that I didn&#8217;t complain about.
