Seven Big Ten men’s hoops teams remain undefeated. Three are ranked in the top 10 of the latest AP Poll, headlined by No. 1 Michigan State. Yep, it’s going to be a fun year! Here’s my latest look at how the Big Ten teams stack up.
Sitting at No. 15 in the BCS standings, Wisconsin’s hopes for an at-large BCS bowl bid are looking better and better. The Badgers need to finish No. 14 or higher to be eligible for selection. Gotta think that’s gonna happen over the next few weeks. First, Wisconsin needs to beat visiting Penn State in the finale. Then, sit back, watch and wait.

The Big Ten office released its Big Ten Men’s Basketball Players of the Week on Monday. To no surprise, Wisconsin junior Frank Kaminsky took home Player of the Week. Kaminsky scored a Wisconsin single-game record 43 points vs. North Dakota and averaged 26 points and 4.7 rebounds in three games.
Things held steady at the top of my Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal, though I’m sure debate will continue to rage on if Michigan State should be ranked ahead of Wisconsin. Debate on, America. This week’s fast-riser: Iowa. See my latest list in this post.

Week 13 brought clarity to the Big Ten season, as Ohio State (Leaders) and Michigan State (Legends) wrapped up division titles and will meet in the Big Ten championship game. We also saw Penn State and Nebraska play an overtime thriller, as well as Illinois end a 20-game Big Ten losing skein. Here is my wrap on Week 13.
