Wisconsin will be the next Big Ten school to make a major apparel move. The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced a long-term partnership with Under Armour during a press conference on Friday afternoon. Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez and Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank announced a new 10-year partnership, which is set to begin July 1, 2016. Preliminary sessions begin at 11 a.m. CT each day, with nightly finals slated for 7 p.m. This year’s championships will feature 54 Big Ten student-athletes from nine different schools. Big Ten institutions have won 487 individual titles, including a conference-leading 167 crowns from Michigan student-athletes. The No. 2-ranked University of Michigan men’s swimming and diving team led wire to wire to capture its fourth consecutive Big Ten Conference championship on Saturday in front of the home crowd at Canham Natatorium. The Wolverines tallied 889 points over the four-day of competition, blowing by second-place Indiana (564 points) and third-place Ohio State (515 points). The University of Michigan men’s swimming and diving team moved to the cusp of its fourth straight Big Ten Championship with a dominating performance on Friday (Feb. 28) at Canham Natatorium. The Wolverines won three of the six swimming events, led by senior Kyle Whitaker’s (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) third conference crown, this time in the 400-yard individual medley.
