Here's where Big Ten stars land on post-lottery NBA mock drafts

The NBA held its annual draft lottery Tuesday night, and now that we know which teams are picking where, the basketball experts are releasing their latest mock drafts. Most every mock draft I checked has Ohio State’s D’Angelo Russell and Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker in the top 20. Russell is a unanimous top 4 pick, with a majority of the mocks having the one-and-done Ohio State star going No. 3 to Philadelphia. Kaminsky goes as high as No. 6 (SI.com) and as low as No. 17 (NBADraft.net), while Dekker’s high-low marks are No. 12 (FOXSports.com & NBADraft.net) and

NCAA Men’s Basketball Rules Committee proposes changes to game

Fans were not shy about expressing their opinions on the slow pace and tempo of men’s college basketball games this past season. Now, it looks like changes are in the works, and college basketball could have a different look next year. The men’s basketball rules committee met on Friday and announced that it would recommend a number of changes in men’s college basketball, including shortening the shot clock from 35 seconds to 30. @Marchmadness, which is the official NCAA March Madness Twitter handle for all things Division I NCAA Men’s Basketball, tweeted out the list of proposals on Friday afternoon.

The Big Ten is expected to be loaded from top to bottom in basketball next season. ESPN Insider Josh Gasaway recently updated his rankings of the top 25 players in college basketball for 2015-16, and the list features four Big Ten stars.
