Michigan fans wearing Wisconsin cheese grater shirts on Saturday

In honor of the big game against the Badgers, Michigan will be handing out free t-shirts 2,500 fans in attendance. The t-shirt is sponsored by Adidas and features the Michigan block "M" standing above a cheese grater.

Four Big Ten standouts make midseason Wooden Award list

Indiana’s Yogi Ferrell, Maryland’s Melo Trimble, Ohio State’s D’Angelo Russell and Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky were named to the 25-man midseason Wooden Award list. Trimble and Russell, both freshman stars, are new entrants since the preseason list was announced; Ferrell and Kaminsky are carryovers from the initial list. Michigan’s Caris LeVert, Michigan State’s Branden Dawson, Maryland’s Dez Wells, Nebraska’s Terran Petteway and Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker all fell of the latest list. Not to worry, though, because all players are eligible to be named finalists, which will be announced in March.

News that Wisconsin senior guard Traevon Jackson will be out a few weeks due to a right foot injury makes the Big Ten race more interesting. “I’m just trying to enjoy the process, learn from this and trust in Christ,” Jackson said in a statement. “I know my teammates will come together and be stronger because of this.
