[ MORE: Check out other #BTNStandout plays ] Olund robbed Michigan State of a extra bases and a likely insurance run with a highlight-reel diving grab on the warning track, right before the hill in front of the fence, in right-center field. With the Boilermakers trailing 9-7 in the bottom of sixth, Olund sprinted to his left and laid out to end the inning. Best of all: The dust. Look at the cloud of dust Olund found himself in after making the grab. Good stuff.

BTN LiveBIG: Purdue promotes the joys of engineering education among young students

If Tamara Moore, an associate professor of engineering education at Purdue University, had the power to do so, she probably would strike a certain four-letter word from the dictionary. That word is “nerd.” “Believe or not, I’ve heard that before,” Moore said, laughing. But Moore turns serious when she discusses how the U.S. public education system is shortchanging the future engineers of America. In a research paper published in March 2015 in the Journal of Research in Science Teaching, Moore and her colleagues report engineering education in public schools generally fails to clearly define and lay out engineering topics in
