Michigan Men's Soccer

Michigan at Michigan State - Men's Soccer Wrap-Up

The weekend saw several of the conference’s soccer and field hockey teams in action. Senior keeper Jeremy Clark tallied his fourth shutout of the year and red-shirt freshman Ryan Keener headed in the game’s only goal as Michigan State (6-7-4, 2-2-2) took back the Big Bear Trophy with a 1-0 victory over rival Michigan. Watch highlights of that game now. Moving to field hockey, Penn State (13-5, 4-2) earned a 4-1 victory over Michigan State on Sunday to close out the regular season and clinch a tie for second place in the Big Ten. Michigan Runs All Over Purdue

Michigan's Fitzgerald Toussaint

Purdue at Michigan - Football Highlights

(AP) Fitzgerald Toussaint ran for a career-high 170 yards and tied a career high with two touchdowns, leading No. 17 Michigan to a 36-14 win over Purdue on Saturday. The Wolverines (7-1, 3-1 Big Ten) gave up a TD on the opening drive of the game, then scored 36 straight points to bounce back from their first loss of the season, two weeks ago at Michigan State. The Boilermakers (4-4, 2-2) haven’t won or lost consecutive games this year. Toussaint had 155 yards rushing through three quarters, helping Michigan find a rusher to take some of the load from quarterback Denard Robinson.
