On a wild play in the top of the ninth inning of Saturday night’s 2012 Big Ten Baseball Tournament championship game, Purdue took the lead and tempers flared at the conclusion of the play. Both benches cleared and the teams had to be separated. Watch the crazy play that saw the eventual game-winning run score and led to the scuffle now. With the 6-5 win (recap), Purdue claimed its first Big Ten tourney title and earned the Big Ten’s automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

The 2012 NCAA Women’s Golf Championships came to a close Friday at the Legends Club North Course in Franklin, Tenn. Purdue finished ninth, its seventh consecutive top 10 finish, to headline the Big Ten competitors. Michigan State and Ohio State placed 20th and 22nd, respectively. Purdue advances to play instate rival and No. 2 seed Indiana at 7:05 p.m. ET Friday live on BTN/BTN2Go. The winner of Friday night’s game advances to the tourney title game.
