Northwestern and Penn State have each won shares of the 2012 Big Ten Championship after earning 3-1-2 conference records this season. The Wildcats won the crown for the second consecutive season and third time in program history, while the Nittany Lions earn their first title since 2005 and third overall.

No. 4 Penn State (12-2-0, 6-0-0) used three goals in a six-minute span to secure a 5-2 victory over Indiana on Sunday at Jeffrey Field.
