The Big Ten recently unveiled what its 2014 men’s basketball tourney bracket will look like going forward now that the conference has 14 teams. The format will feature a double-bye for the top four seeds.
BTN Live released the new format for the Big Ten men’s and women’s tourneys on Thursday night. Now that the conference boasts 14 teams with the addition of Maryland and Rutgers, the events will start a day earlier and run Wednesday-Sunday. This year’s women’s tourney will be March 4-8, and the men’s March 11-15. See the brackets in this post.
All Big Ten basketball fans know Glenn Robinson and son Glenn Robinson III had skills on the hardwood. The former is one of the Big Ten’s greatest of all times, while the latter was a second-round pick in the June NBA draft.
