One week of Big Ten action is in the books, as Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State continue to lead the way. Illinois is a surprising 2-0 and thinking big, while Michigan has overcome injuries to forge a 2-0 start. Minnesota may be better than expected, while 1-1 Iowa is still formidable after a tough loss at Wisconsin on Sunday.

The easy narrative for Wisconsin’s win over Iowa is that Fran McCaffrey was hit with a double technical foul when his team held a 2-point lead, and that those four points gave Wisconsin the lead, the momentum, and the margin of victory.
Ben Brust scored a game-high 19 points as Wisconsin remained perfect with an impressive 75-71 come-from-behind victory over Iowa on Sunday night. In other Big Ten action, Michigan ran past Northwestern, 74-51, while Minnesota edged Purdue, 82-79.
