Even after a week that saw Big Ten co-leaders Michigan and Michigan State suffer Sunday home losses, the top of my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal, remains the same. The biggest change is at No. 3, where Wisconsin has surpassed Iowa. See where you team lands on my latest list in this post.
I long for the days when every Big Ten school played twice every season. It was a symmetrical schedule that crowned a true champ in a neat and tidy 18-game league schedule. The only thing missing was a bow on top.

If Big Ten co-leader Michigan State wasn’t enough to get Purdue fans to Mackey Arena on Thursday night, the giveaway sure will be. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Glenn Robinson bobblehead. Best of all: Robinson, who will be honored at the game, has signed 13 of the bobbleheads.

The spotlight this week swings on Ann Arbor, where Michigan will play host to Michigan State in a battle between Big Ten front-runners this weekend. Each squad is 10-3 in league action. Wisconsin and Iowa are right behind the Wolverines and Spartans. And, ironically, the Badgers and Hawkeyes meet in a big game in Iowa City this week.
