Ohio State claims 2017 Big Ten Wrestling Championships

Ohio State won the 2017 Big Ten Wrestling Championships title on Sunday with a team score of 139.5. The Buckeyes claimed their fourth Big Ten Championship and second in the last three years.

The Big Ten Conference announced Monday the preliminary seeds for the 2017 Big Ten Wrestling Championships, which are set for March 4-5 at Indiana. Six schools boast at least one top-seeded wrestler, with Ohio State and Penn State leading the way with three apiece.

Penn State wrestling dominates at NWCA Championship Series

Penn State (14-0) dominated home-standing Oklahoma State (14-1) in the title matchup of the 2017 NWCA Dual Championship Series. Head coach Cael Sanderson’ squad posted a 27-13 victory to claim its second-straight national dual meet title.

BTN will televise eight winter Big Ten Championships in 2017, including the entire Big Ten Hockey Tournament, wrestling, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and men’s and women’s gymnastics. Television coverage begins with the Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships from Purdue on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 10:30 a.m. ET and continues with Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships at 10:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 26, from Ohio State. The opening night relays and preliminary rounds for both women (Feb. 15-18) and men (Feb. 22-25) can be viewed live on
