Dienhart: Here's what I learned in Week 12

It was a Saturday filled with blowouts. Still, there was a lot to learn, beginning with the continued domination of Ohio State and Michigan State. Oh, and Wisconsin is pretty good, too. Everyone else? See what I learned in Week 12 in this post. 1. Ohio State’s offense is really good. The unit has averaged 59.6 points the last three games, scoring 63 (Penn State), 56 (Purdue) and 60 (Illinois) as it tries to make a BCS statement. (I don’t care what Urban Meyer says.) The fewest points the Buckeyes have scored all season has been 31 in a 31-24

Power Rankings: There's a new No. 2 team this week

Ohio State remains on top with another impressive victory, but I finally am moving Michigan State past Wisconsin and into the No. 2 spot in my power rankings. Yes, that win at Nebraska was that vital. Sorry, Wisconsin. Without a doubt, there seems to be a big drop between the top three teams and everyone else. How did we do? Week 12 Big Ten picks revisited

Before we turn our attention to Week 13, it’s time to revisit how the BTN.com team and Big Ten fans did with their Week 12 Big Ten predictions. Stephen Bardo went 5-0 and everyone else went 4-1, missing the Michigan-Northwestern game, meaning Bardo and Sean Merriman are tied atop the standings. Big Ten fans are one game off the pace. Tom's Take: My Week 12 honors, grades & stocks

It’s time to put a wrap on an interesting Week 12 that will be remembered for its blowouts, a wild overtime thriller and a signature victory by Michigan State that clinched at least a share of the Legends Division crown for the Spartans. With that said, here’s a wrap on Week 12 in the Big Ten. [ MORE: Power Rankings: There’s a new No. 2 team this week ] Biggest surprise: Michigan State pulling away from Nebraska and winning fairly easily. The final was 41-28. But, the Huskers added what essentially was a meaningless touchdown in the waning seconds to
