NU's Harris leaves game after tackling Penn State's Hackenberg

Northwestern’s Matthew Harris was knocked out of Saturday’s game after tackling Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg near the sideline late in the third quarter. Hackenberg was sprinting to the left when Harris took him down near Penn State’s bench. Medical personnel attended to Harris while Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald stood over his player. Harris did give the “thumbs up” sign as he was carted off the field.
