Illinois shut out top-seeded Penn State 1-0 in Friday’s first semifinal of the 2012 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament, then Ohio State edged Michigan 2-1 in the second game on BTN/BTN2Go. Friday’s semifinals in the 2012 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament are set and both games will air on BTN/BTN2Go. No. 4 Penn State (12-2-0, 6-0-0) used three goals in a six-minute span to secure a 5-2 victory over Indiana on Sunday at Jeffrey Field.
