Wednesday was a busy night for Big Ten volleyball. Several of the conference’s top teams were in action including top-ranked Illinois who faced Northwestern. The Illini’s perfect season is still in tact following a straight set win over the Wildcats (25-19, 25-23, 25-19). Several Big Ten volleyball teams were in action on Friday night including the top-ranked Illini who remained undefeated by beating Indiana 3-1 (15-25, 25-21, 19-25, 14-25). Ninth-ranked Penn State earned a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-22) victory against conference foe Wisconsin. There was an upset in Columbus as No. 24 Ohio State beat tenth-ranked Minnesota in three sets (23-25, 20-25, 26-28). Meanwhile, the Michigan held off Iowa in a 3-0 sweep (25-22, 25-15, 25-17).
