Football season is drawing nearer, and that means it's time for BTN.com's annual Big Ten football uniform poll. This year's No. 1? It's Michigan, one year after rival Ohio State staked claim to the top spot.
The Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday that 781 students competing in intercollegiate athletics have earned the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The list includes students from every institution and 38 different sports who have recorded a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year. Here’s the latest proof: The Big Ten Conference led the nation in attendance (3,195,137) during the 2014-15 season, according to data released Monday by the NCAA.
