We asked Big Ten writers: Who would run your 2-minute drill?

There are two minutes left on the clock. Your team needs a touchdown to win the game. What Big Ten quarterback would you choose to lead your team down field? I asked some of my esteemed and sage Big Ten media colleagues. Jeff Potrykus, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: I’ll go with Cook of MSU. Why? Because he has done it before, last season vs Baylor. Cook directed TD drives of 71, 60 and 45 in final quarter of 42-41 victory. He was 8-of-13 for 140 and two TDs and rushed four times for 23 yards with three first downs. Media Day: 12 Big Ten men's basketball stories to watch

The calendar says “October,” which means leaf raking, pumpkins and apple cider. But glorious hoops season is here. Really. It’s not all about neck rolls, eye black and J-pads right now. The basketballs have been inflated and rolled out onto the court. Practices have started and, for now, the possibilities seem endless for Lincoln to Piscataway.
