And, just like the handful or so before it, this one was pretty. The city of Chicago was filled with college basketball’s best on Thursday as the top players and coaches from around the Big Ten gathered at the annual Big Ten Media Day. It was a chance to ask some out-of-the-norm questions and find out who really are the best personalities around the Big Ten. I conducted a Big Ten poll, asking one player from every team a series of five questions. See what they had to say here in this post. Editors note: Player responses are anonymous. Players could not use their teammates/stadium/city/uniform/coach in their answers. [ More: Hoosiers reload with

Here are the podium press conference sessions from all 12 Big Ten men’s basketball coaches. Indiana’s Tom Crean: “We have a lot to learn. I think the biggest thing we’re trying to get accomplished right now is to get our team to understand — this team to understand what it takes to practice at a championship level and showing the standards of last year, not necessarily who it was, but how it was done, I think is the most important thing.” Illinois’ John Groce: “We want to play faster this year. Have we built ourselves for more speed? Yes. Will

Clothes Call: Check out these Big Ten hoops changes

A new basketball season is upon us. Before the ball tips early next month, let’s take a look at some of the new uniform and court designs we’ll see around the Big Ten this season. A little warning, there aren’t nearly as many changes this year as there were last, and that goes for both the uniforms and the courts. Some good news: After talking to team representatives, it seems like we won’t see the adidas “Bleed Out” or Nike “Hyper Elite Road” uniforms that debuted last season. That doesn’t mean the companies won’t come out with some other new
