It’s one of our favorite annual traditions. Every summer, after each practice on our 12-stop trek across Big Ten country, the player represented on our tour bus signs his likeness. It makes for a tremendous photo op – not to mention a really cool memento from our travels. See a photo of all the players signing their likeness and relive all of our tour coverage right here.

The highly respected Phil Steele released his 2013 Initial Power Ratings on Friday, and the list is certain to get the attention of Big Ten fans. For starters, Big Ten preseason favorite Ohio State lands at No. 4, behind reigning national champ Alabama, Oregon and Texas A&M. Ohio State fans won’t like that. Nebraska? The reigning Legends Division champ comes in at No. 27, and is the fifth (!) Big Ten team.

We sent BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart on the BTN Football Tour to provide analysis from every Big Ten camp. He’s done so through the first three stops. With a day of travel planned Friday, well, he couldn’t stop the analysis. This time, Dienhart provided witty and entertaining play-by-play of the tour bus’ mechanical troubles, right outside State College, Pa.
When it comes to traveling, Jim Delany is the best. The Big Ten commissioner hitched a ride on the BTN bus during the first three stops—Indiana, Ohio State and Penn State–of our tour of training camps.
