Ohio State baseball topped Louisville 2-0 on Tuesday night on a game on BTN/BTN2Go, and Buckeyes third baseman Nick Sergakis’ play in the second inning was an eye-catching part of the win. Watch Sergakis dive to snag the hot smash down the line and throw the runner out from one knee.
Ohio State pitcher Zach Farmer, who is fighting leukemia and missed most of the 2014 season, tweeted Thursday that his blood levels are all normal for the first time since April.
Ohio State will be representing the Big Ten Conference tonight when the Buckeyes take on the Oregon Ducks in the long-anticipated College Football Playoff Championship Game. The team overcame key injuries throughout this season and finished strong to get into the first-ever college football playoff, and surprised many — including experts writing for this site — with its 42-35 victory over top-ranked Alabama in the first-round game on New Year’s Day.
