Former Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to further explain why he’s spearheading the effort to unionize college football and is willing to be the face of the College Athletes Players Association. Colter thinks a players union is necessary in the today’s game, to address players’ health and safety, and he’s doing all of this work to help future players. See his tweets, the first ones since the news broke, in this post.

The move to unionized college athletes continues to gain momentum.
The best Big Ten game this week is the first one, tonight in Iowa City when Michigan State visits Iowa. Each team is looking for a win to keep pace with Big Ten leader Michigan. The Wolverines beat each team last week, adding to the sense of urgency for both clubs. Here is my ranking of this week’s action.

As expected, there’s a new No. 1 following Michigan’s impressive win over Michigan State. This week, the Wolverines get to stake claim to the top stop. Find out where your team lands in this post.
