Northwestern men’s basketball players have their Twitter handles printed on the back of their shooting shirts for Saturday night’s game vs. Indiana. The Wildcats did the same thing last year – in addition to putting hashtags all over Welsh-Ryan Arena – for their Social Media Night.

Before a very important weekend of games, let’s take a quick look at where Big Ten teams currently rank in KenPom relative to where they were ranked in the preseason.
If there is a theme to this Big Ten season, it would be “expect the unexpected.” Down is up … up is down … in is out … out is in. You get the idea. Ever see 10 consecutive free throws in a game? You have if you saw Ohio State’s 76-60 victory over Northwestern on Wednesday night. A scuffle with 5:24 left in the second half led to the ejections of Northwestern’s Nikola Cerina and Ohio State’s LaQuinton Ross, and after an extended delay to sort out all of the penalties, the Buckeyes shot four free throws and the Wildcats six. Watch it in the video above.
