On Tuesday, the BTN bus tour hit Kenosha, Wis., where the BTN crew took in Northwestern practice. With the practice and filming now complete, it’s time for analyst Gerry DiNardo’s post-practice tweets – a feature he’ll provide after all 12 stops across Big Ten country. See all of DiNardo’s tweets in this post. Also, don’t forget to catch the debut of the Northwestern Preview Show at 10 p.m. ET Wednesday on BTN/BTN2Go.
Last spring we offered up some pretty cool basketball-themed graphics for each Big Ten school that are suitable headers for your Facebook timelines, and our readers told us they loved them. Now, just in time for football season, we present to you our Big Ten football versions in case you want to dress your page up for fall.
The BTN tour bus was in Kenosha, Wis., Northwestern’s summer home, on Tuesday to take in Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats’ practice. Per the tradition this summer, we had the player represented on one of the sides of our bus sign his likeness. That would be defensive lineman Tyler Scott. See a picture of him signing the bus in this post.
Believe it or not, BTN will celebrate its fifth anniversary later this month. The big day is Aug. 30, to be exact. As a way to celebrate – not to mention kill time before the 2012 season kicks off – I’m spotlighting some of the great football careers during our time on the air. I’ll do it in the mold of “Big Ten’s Best,” our popular countdown show that returns this fall for another season of ranking the best in Big Ten history. My first list ranks the top five wide receivers of the last five seasons, aka the BTN era.
Day 2 in the great state of Wisconsin is here, as we’ve left Madison and are in Kenosha to watch Pat Fitzgerald’s Wildcats practice Tuesday. You can catch the Wisconsin Preview Show at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday. Until then, check out these Big Ten web links.
