The Big Ten announced on Wednesday the 28 honorees named Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners for the 2014-15 academic year. These standouts were chosen from a group of more than 350 students honored throughout the academic year who had displayed positive sportsmanship. One member of each varsity sports team on every campus was chosen by his or her institution as a Sportsmanship Award honoree, and two Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners were then selected from each institution. Ohio State sits in first place heading into the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. The Buckeyes currently have 86.5 points after Friday’s action, 13.5 points ahead of second-place Iowa. Penn State is in sixth place with 68 points, while Michigan (51), Minnesota (49) and Nebraska (49) round out the Big Ten teams in the top 10.
