Four teams play tonight in women's tourney

Four Big Ten women’s basketball teams hit the floor tonight in the 2013 NCAA Women’s Baseketball Tournament as Iowa, Michigan, Penn State and Purdue look to advance. Nebraska is still in contention after beating Texas A&M on Monday night. Jordan Hooper Hooper scored 21 points and Lindsey Moore had 20 points and a season-high 10 assists to lead Nebraska to a 74-63 win over Texas A&M on Monday night in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Sam Ostarello scored 18 points, Courtney Moses had 16 and Purdue beat No. 21 Nebraska 77-64 on Saturday to advance to the Big Ten tournament championship. KK Houser added 13 points, eight rebounds, six steals and five assists for the Boilermakers (23-8), who also beat Nebraska 69-66 in overtime on Jan. 5. Purdue will face fourth-seeded Michigan State, which upset top-seeded Penn State, in Sunday’s title game. Purdue goes on road, tops Nebraska in overtime

(AP) Sam Ostarello had 17 points and a career-high 19 rebounds Saturday and No. 14 Purdue held off No. 25 Nebraska 69-66 in overtime. The Boilermakers never trailed in the extra period, but Ostarello’s basket with 43 seconds left made it 68-66 Purdue. Courtney Moses and Drey Mingo also scored 17 points for Purdue (13-2, 2-0 Big Ten) in another close one between the schools. All three games between them have gone to overtime.
