It’s time to release my latest Big Ten men’s hoops power rankings. The rankings are not meant to mimic the Big Ten standings. What fun would that be? They aren’t scientific, either. Dienhart: Previewing the final week

The last week of the regular season is here. Where’s the drama? Michigan State already has sewn up at least a share of Tom Izzo’s seventh Big Ten title thanks to the Spartans pushing their winning streak to seven and Ohio State and Michigan both losing—at home, no less—over the weekend (standings). Michigan State can claim the outright title with a win at Indiana on Tuesday, potentially taking any remaining pizzazz out of that season-ending visit to East Lansing by Ohio State.

Monday night on The Pulse, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Rick Pizzo, Derek Rackley, Tim Doyle and Mateen Cleaves discuss whether Michigan State is bound for the Final Four. Big Ten Women's Tournament bracket released

The Big Ten Conference announced the bracket on Sunday for the 2012 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, with conference champion Penn State earning the No. 1 seed and one of four first-round byes. The tournament is set for Thursday-Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, previously known as Conseco Fieldhouse. BTN and BTN2Go will air the tournament’s first 10 games, starting with No. 7 Michigan-No. 10 Illinois at 11:30 a.m. ET Thursday. The championship game will be played at 4 p.m. ET Sunday.

Sunday's Women's Hoops Roundup

It was a busy Sunday of Big Ten women’s basketball, as all 12 teams were in action on the season’s final day. No. 15 Penn State routed Minnesota to claim the outright Big Ten title, No. 23 Nebraska took down No. 14 Ohio State in a battle of ranked teams and Purdue blasted archrival Indiana.
