Session I: Minnesota jumps out to early lead

Co-Big Ten champ Minnesota leads the 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships after Session 1. The Gophers racked up 77 points to jump out to the early lead in Madison. Penn State and Iowa, the other two teams that shared the dual meet crown, are in second and third place, respectively, with 70 and 68 points.

Semifinal time: Women's tourney hits Final Four

Jordan Hooper scored 33 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as No. 16 Nebraska beat Minnesota 80-67 in the Big Ten quarterfinals on Friday night to cap off another busy day of games. Earlier Friday, Ohio State upset Penn StateIowa beat Purdue, and Michigan State rallied to take down Michigan. Both of Saturday’s semifinals games air on BTN/BTN2Go.
