Jack Hoffman and the Nebraska football program have received plenty of love for Saturday’s touching moment in the Red-White Spring Game, and for good reason. Hoffman, a seven-year old Nebraska fan and brain cancer survivor, warmed the hearts of sports fans across the nation when he lined up in the backfield and ran for a long touchdown.

The 2012-13 hoops season now complete, it’s time to look back at all of the alternate/throwback uniforms Big Ten teams wore during the successful campaign. By my count, there were 13 new special looks, four of which came from NCAA runner-up Michigan.

Little Jack Hoffman has captured the attention of fans nation-wide. The 7-year-old Nebraska fan who is battling brain cancer got to run a play in the Husker spring game on Saturday, bolting around right end for a 69-yard touchdown run.
