Week 2 featured some exciting games, highlighted by Minnesota's 23-20 overtime win at Colorado State and Michigan State's 31-28 payback victory vs. Oregon. Oh, and Ohio State won again.
Nebraska honored its 1965 football team during its game vs. South Alabama on Saturday night. Alvarez had himself a busy day, starting it all of in Madison, where the Wisconsin athletic director’s football team shut out Miami (OH), 58-0, before making his way to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the festivities to celebrate the team that went 10-1, including 7-0 in the Big 8, en route to finishing No. 3 in the Coaches Poll. No. 6 Michigan State got revenge on No. 5 Oregon in a 31-28 victory Saturday night to highlight the Big Ten’s three prime-time matchups. The Ducks took down the Spartans last season in Eugene, Oregon, en route to advancing to the inaugural College Football Playoff.
