BTN to air seven Big Ten Winter Championships & Hockey tourney

BTN will televise seven winter Big Ten Championships, including wrestling, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and men’s and women’s gymnastics and the entire Big Ten Hockey Tournament in 2016. Coverage begins with the Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships from Michigan on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. ET, while the Big Ten Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships will air at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 29, from Purdue. Michigan wins Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championship

The Michigan men’s gymnastics team captured the 2014 Big Ten Championship Friday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The title marks the Wolverines’ second consecutive crown and 17th overall. Michigan totaled a team score of 448.200 points, followed by second-place Ohio State (441.050) and third-place Penn State (438.000). Illinois finished fourth (435.350), Minnesota placed fifth (429.150), Nebraska came in sixth (428.150) and Iowa rounded out the team standings with 425.600 points. Minnesota and Nebraska clinched a share of the regular-season Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics Championship after finishing with 6-1 Big Ten records. The Golden Gophers placed first in their Big Ten quad meet versus Iowa, Michigan and Penn State after scoring 196.700 points, while Nebraska recorded 197.050 points in its quad meet against Illinois, Michigan State and Ohio State. Paced by a program-record 49.725 on vault, the No. 9 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team captured its third consecutive conference crown – the last two coming in the Big Ten – Saturday night at the 2013 Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics Championships. The Huskers amassed 197.800 points, a conference championship school record, on their way to sending head coach Dan Kendig to his 14th conference title at Nebraska. Ruggeri, Mikulak shine at men's individual meet

The second day of the 2012 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships saw individual event winners crowned and All-Conference teams and award winners announced on Saturday night. Four schools won event titles, including two each for both Illinois and Michigan. Paul Ruggeri won both individual event championships for the Illini, while Sam Mikulak took home two titles for the Wolverines. Illinois wins Big Ten Men’s Crown

Iowa hosted the 2012 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships Friday which featured the team and all-around competitions. Illinois won their fourth straight Big Ten title and freshman CJ Maestas took home the all-around crown in Friday’s session.
